BSc(AS) students and students who declare Risk Management/Statistics as 1st Major are both eligible to join the Internship Programmes. This implies that those who will take full-time internships MUST apply for leave of absence and obtain approval from Faculty BEFORE working full-time.

Please refer to University General Regulations G8 for details.

     Notes for Actuarial Science students

This internship programme is only available to students currently studying actuarial science in The University of Hong Kong. Only selected students will be contacted. The Department will not send out general notifications of specific internship position vacancies.

Students are reminded that Departmental approval must be obtained before starting work in a full-time internship programme. Application for deferral of study during the internship period must also be submitted to the Faculty of Science office.

Students interested in part-time internship programme must ensure that the internship arrangement does not interfere with the regular study programme.
